The nasal passages work more efficiently in humid environments, so otherwise dry weather enhanced by cold can irritate and inflame them. This kind of reaction on the part of our body generates severe headaches.
Given this link between inflammation and headaches as a result of cold air, drugs with an anti-inflammatory profile are usually, for obvious reasons, the most recommended in these cases.
