There is a small percentage of cases in which ailments such as headaches can persist in the medium term. Given this circumstance, it is necessary to consult with the family doctor since there is a risk that the pain itself is related to a phenomenon known as seasonal affective disorder. This can occur together with symptoms such as the following: excessive sleepiness, lack of energy, slight tendency to depression, general decrease in activity together with slow movements and lack of usual vigour.
